My first experience here was AMAZING! Started off with the roasted brussels (to DIE FOR!), I got the Moroccan chicken and I've never experienced anything like it, just superior and delicious. My son has the chefs special (halibut) and it didn't disappoint AT ALL. So much flavor packed on these plates. If you're looking for a foodie experience... Then you need to check it out! Our service was STELLAR. Julia made everything perfection. I promise you'll thank me later! Oh yea, the bar and dessert is also on point!! I'd give it 10 stars if I could!
Great atmosphere, and our server was nothing short of amazing. There are a lot of choices on the menu. I had the pumpkin ravioli as an entrée and enjoyed it. It needed something: more seasoning. I tried my sons' lamb shank entrée and duck breast and my cousin's steak; which were all cooked very well but lacked pizzazz in the seasoning department. A general blandness. The appetizers shined, and apparently, that's where Primo dedicates its seasoning.
Great cocktail selection, and they were kind enough to slice my son's birthday tiramisu cake with no hassle.
Enjoyed our meal here tonite. Everything was superb!! The flavors were popping and nice staff! I would definitely go back!! This restaurant is NOT your typical chain restaurant!! Loved it!!
Great restaurant with good food and service. Staff was very accommodating though we did not have a reservation on a Friday night. The ribeye steak was cooked to perfection. Loved the lamb shanks - this is a must have. Halibut was also very tasty. One feedback on the roasted calamari is the spices were a bit overpowering, which did not do justice to the amazing sauce with garlic and parsley. The dessert menu is excellent and well-thought in conjunction with the rest of the menu. The bourbon chocolate cake is with rich dark chocolate - I absolutely loved the sticky texture and how the whipped cream complemented it. I suggest you get the cream on the side to adjust the balance to your liking. One other thing I recomend is the house limoncello with the bourbon chocolate cake as it helps to ease the intense (but very pleasant) chocolate flavor with every two to three spoons. The culinary experience was very satisfactory. In terms of price, be prepared to pay about $80 per person including the tip. I think this price is worth it especially on special occasions. By the way, I really appreciated the disclosure at the bottom of the menu with regular font size (rather than the small print most restaurants do) regarding the 20% tip policy. Furthermore, the communication that 70% of the tip going directly to our server while the remaining 30% going to their welfare expenses was transparecy at its best. I think other restaurants should take Primo as a role model in terms of how tipping policy works and should be communicated to the patrons. Well done Primo! I hope to see you soon & thank you for a wonderful evening 🙂
First time on a beautiful evening, smiling stress free atmosphere. We were seated quickly and from drinks to dessert, we loved every minute. The burrata was creamy, the fungi pizza warm crisp and flavorful, and the flourless chocolate love cake was beyond. What an all around experience. The answer to your question is-yes, go and enjoy! Now!
You will not regret this place. Sat at the bar for dinner due to a 45 min weekend wait. Bar was just as fantastic and I love seeing the drinks being made.
It’s very lively and fun. Make sure to go early or make a reservation.
Honestly every drink and every food item blew us away. Share the dishes because you will want to order it all.
Make sure you order every course well with the experience.
Very enjoyable experience. Scallop special was superb. Moroccan chicken was well balanced and worthy of ordering again. Veggies paired well. 10yo reports high praise for tagliatelle. Topped off with lovely service. These first-timers will be back! Thank you for a great find.
Such a great place! Food was amazing but the staff was even more amazing. So friendly from the minute we walked in the door until we left
